Campagnola
Founded in Bologna in 1958, Campagnola occupies a leading position in the world market of pneumatic pruning and harvesting systems. In more recent years, Campagnola have expanded their range to include olive oil processing machinery, electromechanical olive harvesting equipment and high quality manual pruners.
With its staff dedicated to the research and development of innovative solutions for agriculture, Campagnola is a name trusted by operators and farmers all over the world. In these years Campagnola has reached important new goals, such as the ISO 9001:2000 certification and the opening of Campagnola Iberica in Cardedeu (Barcelona, Spain) and two more factories in Zola Predosa (Bologna, Italy).
Currently Campagnola exports its quality products to over 60 countries, on every continent, world wide.
Company History
- 1958 Campagnola is established.
- 1964 Campagnola launches the first mass production pneumatic shears.
- 1966 Campagnola begins production of PTO and engine driven air compressors.
- 1974 The Superstar pneumatic shears are born, the first pneumatic shears in the world made from thermoplastic resins.
- 1978 Launch of vibrating rakes for olive harvesting.
- 1980 Production of PTO compressors with larger capacity air tanks, showing a pioneering interest in energy saving and the environment.
- 1981 Campagnola begins production of its first pneumatic chainsaws.
- 1990 The Olistar, pneumatic olive harvester is born. Made from moulded thermoplastic resin and with two rakes, it was the first tool of its kind in the world and quickly became a market standard.
- 2000 Opening of a new plant specifically for the manufacturing of air compressors, Campagnola 2. In the same year, Campagnola Iberica was founded in Barcelona to supply the spanish market.
- 2004 The creation of the Campagnola olive oil mills & electronic tools division.
- 2005 Opening of the third Campagnola manufacturing plant in Zola Predosa (Bologna), Campagnola 3.
- 2006 Campagnola uses its wealth of knowledge for olive harvesting to create the Alice & Elektra, electromechanical olive harvesters.
